Our hope is alive!

Your life and mine can sometimes resemble the aridity surrounding this volcano on the island of Tenerife. For your information, although far from the mainland, in the Canary Islands, this peak is the highest point in Spain.

One day we will reach another peak, when we, Christians from all walks of life and continents, will be transported to the heavenly Jerusalem in the afterlife. It is this hope that I wanted to express in the poem set to music "Jerusalem, City Covered in Gold." Paul Praxis
